The new apple 129-inch iPad pro has a face id scanner

For fans of the Apple Pencil, the iPad Pro (2022) comes with a new "hover" feature that identifies the tool 12mm above the display. You can also now preview your markup before actually creating it, and Apple promises more precision in general.

Apple's own Measure app is a perfect example of how a camera and silicon intelligence can be combined to create something useful; in this case, a cool-looking, precise measurement tool. The front-facing camera is great for video calling or taking selfies with the camera, and the Magic Keyboard is great for positioning the camera like that.

The new apple 129-inch iPad Pro is available in space gray (6th generation)

The sixth-generation iPad Pro launches on October 18, 2022, alongside the iPad (10th generation). They use the same design as the previous 3 generations. It contains an Apple M2 chip, Apple Pencil Hover (a feature that allows the display to detect when an Apple Pencil is held up to 12mm above it), and a ProRes video.

Yes. Apple has officially unveiled the new base 10th-generation iPad, with an upgraded processor for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Considering Apple refreshed the iPad Air earlier this year, the 2021 iPad Mini is the only "dated" model in the lineup, but we're not expecting a new one just yet. A 14-inch iPad Pro model has been rumored to launch next year, but that sounds like a whole new tablet category. You can of course buy a new iPad right now.

The new apple 129-inch iPad pro has an a12x bionic chip and is super-fast

It's powered by Apple's A14 Bionic chip -- the same one found in the iPhone 12 -- which Apple says delivers 20 percent better performance and 10 percent better graphics performance than the ninth-generation model; in our tests, it never felt sluggish. But we have complaints. The supposedly basic iPad is now $120 more expensive, starting at $449. It still doesn't have a fully laminated display, and you don't get second-generation Apple Pencil support -- it only works with the first-generation stylus; now that the Lightning connector is gone, you'll need an adapter to charge the Pencil. (It's included with the new first-gen Apple Pencil, but if you already have one, the adapter is $9.) This iPad supports the Magic Keyboard Folio (as well as the original Smart Folio case), but we don't recommend spending Nearly half the price of a tablet on a keyboard case. Read our guide to the best iPad accessories for cheaper alternatives.

The A13 Bionic chip that debuted on the iPhone 11 makes it one of the most powerful tablets in its price range, along with other welcome upgrades like 64GB of storage and True Tone, which adjusts the display's color temperature to match Ambient lighting for more natural behavior. The real star is the front-facing camera, which is 12 megapixels and supports Center Stage, an iPad Pro feature that moves the camera around during video calls to keep you in the frame. (The camera placement is still a bit awkward.) It's worth noting that this iPad doesn't have a fully laminated display. That means there's an air gap between the screen and the glass, which can make Apple Pencil interactions feel a little imprecise.
