Growatt 3000w off-grid solar inverter can be used with 24v battery to power your home, MPPT charge controller inside, together to support three-phase equipment
Growatt uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology, one of the most reliable, safest and longest-lasting battery technologies on the market. The BMS system controls and monitors the effectiveness and safety of the solar cells through Growatt's online smart service. What's more, your system can even provide you with backup power through the EPS output if the national grid goes out! At Deege Solar we specialize in installing Growatt solar inverters and batteries for residential rooftops.
The warranty document states that if the device fails, Growatt will repair the product or replace it with an equivalent device. No further details on whether there are exclusions such as labor and freight
Growatt off-grid solar inverter is 110v-120v/220-230v split phase inverter,Li Ion & Lead Acid battery support,
The inverter is also connected to the grid, which is important because it needs to be able to handle AC. Excess solar energy is fed back to the grid. There are four types of solar inverters: string inverters, hybrid inverters, microinverters, and power optimizers.
With a wide range of inverters and solar cells to choose from, you can always rely on Growatt for your residential, commercial or even off-grid solar PV needs. Growatt products are always an economical and high-quality choice. With more than ten years of experience, Growatt is committed to providing clean energy on a global scale. As Growatt Platinum Installers, the team at Deege Solar is proud to be a part of this global journey.
Growatt 3000w off-grid solar inverter has a built-in 80a mppt solar charge controller, a very detail LCD display,60Hz/50Hz can be set
The Growatt MIN 2500-6000TL-X/XH is a 2.5-6 kW single-phase inverter with 2 MPTTs. This inverter showcases further developments in inverter technology, functionality, and appearance. This inverter has an efficiency of 98.2% to 98.4%, making it one of the most efficient home inverters on the market. This, combined with touch buttons, an OLED display, and an elegant, modern design, sets a new standard for inverters.
I will start by saying that this inverter does work as advertised. I can easily run air compressors and other high-consumption appliances. Why I strongly advise against buying this (unless you want a full weekend project like I outline below, or you don't care about monitoring your electricity usage) 1. WiFi monitoring does not work. Having worked in IT for 15 years, I think this is user error based on all the customer reviews. I could not have been more wrong. Another reviewer here was correct when he changed the server domain to server-us.growatt.com. However, this still didn't solve the problem. You'll see the infamous blinking green light, which means you're connected to the internet but unable to reach the Growatt servers. Guess what fixed it? Found a firmware update for this model from watts247, connected my laptop via USB Type B, and flashed it with the new firmware. You'd think growth would download the firmware but it doesn't, see point 2 below. Anyway, they shipped an inverter and wifi dongle in the same box, the firmware version was incompatible and had to be downloaded from a 3rd party site, then blamed my network (claimed port blocked, even though I had proven I could telnet port 5279 to the Growatt web server). While my dongle works fine, I might try to lower the price and return it since I built my own solution until it finally worked. 2. Tech support sucks. Without centralization, it is impossible to contact anyone for documentation on this product. From what I've gathered, they want you to go through a reseller, and they all have their own websites and documentation, all in different versions. 3. It took me longer to research, learn, and write a monitoring solution for this inverter than I did for the frame, sheathing, and electrical/ Pipe installation. If you have inverter ambitions and thought it would be fun to write your own monitoring solution, the information below still applies. Skip if you have read enough or are not interested in technical details. Hope this saves someone a lot of time in the future. - This solution uses Raspberry Pi 3, influxdb, and Grafana - Search Solomon on Git to see a basic python script that can be used to read the inverter Modbus. Good luck finding the Modbus RTU protocol documentation for SPF3k. I had to use 5K which is not exactly correct - streaming the inverter data to influxdb and then using grafana to visualize it. why all this - You own the data and control where it goes - You control the refresh rate (instead of the 5 minutes sent by the Growatt dongle) - Full customization of the dashboard (see attached image) - Interesting project if you like that kind of thing.
